i have one that i want to eat but im not sre how long they last for.....its kind of old

Everything expires. First, do the smell test. If it smells at all odd, toss it. Then inspect it carefully for black or green dots (or possibly red, depending on the mold in your area). If you find any weird colors that don't belong on a rice crispy treat, toss it. Finally, take a bite. If it doesn't taste right, don't eat it. Spit out your mouthful, and toss it.

When in doubt, throw it out.

That said, sugar is a great preservative, and they do last a long time.

Rice Krispie Treats With a Twist cup karo white corn syrup 1 cup sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 5 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal 1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 1/4 cups butterscotch chips Bring Karo syrup and sugar to a boil. Add peanut butter and vanilla and stir. Add cereal and stir well. Pour into 9 X 13 greased pan and smooth out. Melt both flavors of chips and frost top. Slice and enjoy!

eat it just eat it kids r starving in other countries and you complain about having a little old rice crispie treat some kids dont even eat every week......
lol jk srry i dont think they expire if they are rapped up somehow like in a ziplock bag or sumthin

if left outside the fridge , they can expire in 2 to 3 days.. they are made with a lot of butter. but if refrigerated, they could last really longer..

Not if you eat them right away! How can you let them alone long enough to get old?

i dont think they expire but it may be really stale

yeah they get hard put it in the microwave a bit
