Because of the age of your kitten, you should take your kitten to the vet for treatment and an exam. Your kitten could end up with ear mites and worms from the fleas. A veterinarian would be able to give you the best advice and treatment.
Contrary to above answers, do NOT use any over the counter flea treatments as they could easily poison your little kitten. Do not treat with anything that you don't get from the vet. Fleas can make your kitten very sick, so don't wait to help your kitten out.
In the meantime - when your kitten and any other pets or people are out of your house, spray your house thoroughly with a good flea killer so they don't keep reinfesting your kitten when you get back from the vets.

Frontline spray, get it from a vets. Safe for use on kittens from 2 days of age - about the only treatment that is safe for young kittens, and actually works as well. Don't even bother washing in any kind of soap or shampoo - no point just washing the fleas away, new ones will just jump right back on! I suggest spraying your house because that's where most of the fleas are living and breeding - if you spray your kitten she'll be covered, but if you don't spray your house you'll still see fleas.

The simplest manner i've determined years in the past was once: placed a few flea powder in a paper grocery bag, placed the Kitten in there , near the bag and tumble lightly approximately 3 or 4 occasions. repeat each couple of days. BUT if the kittens have fleas your condo/house has fleas too, that should be sorted otherwise you in no way get your kitten/s flea loose.

people say that dawn dish soap works good. but for me, I have given kittens that young a bath with sergents flea shampoo but only use a VERY little bit, maybe about one small squirt alittle smaller than a penny size and dont get any in the eyes or face, be very careful of that, and try to get the head first, if you start from the bottom the fleas will rise from the bottom up to the head and you dont want that. only keep it on for about a minute until they are old enough to stand the whole time, use warm water until they are old enough to handle the cold. cold is actually better because it gets more fleas off, they basically freeze up and you can rinse them off. but since they are so young i would wait until they are more around 5 months to do that. people are so against using sergents at that young but they have never done it, if you use the amount i said and only keep it on for a minute they will be fine, I have done this with 4 litters of kittens and more recently with a friends 2 kittens about a week ago.
EDIT: you can get sergents shampoo from walmart and it is usually under 10 dollars. when they are around 5 months you can start getting the really good kind, it is called Adams flea shampoo. it works REALLY good. WAY better than sergents, but because of their age and because I have never tried it on young kittens I wouldnt suggest it yet.
Also, the best place to give them a bath is the sink so you can see well and make sure none gets in their face or nose or anything

Get a bowl of warm soapy water and sponge it all over the kitten, don't forget the armpits! (Fleas hide there) Use a flea comb and brush him everywhere with it. Dip the comb in the bowl after every stroke to get the fleas off. The soap will kill them. Do this till you don't see anymore scurring about. Throw out the water,(you will see the dead fleas floating around it there) Gentle towel off the kitten and blow dry him with a hair dryer on Low. Hold the dryer about 6 inches from his skin, cause he could get burned. Make sure he is all the way dry!!! He will get a cold if you don't. All of his bedding needs to be washed also. This is the old fashioned way. I have always lived on a farm and my mom used to do this to our kitties. Pretty easy & cheap! Good Luck!

A flea comb and a bath with a bit of Dawn dish soap. Don't use chemical flea products on very young kittens. (I think the minimum age is either eight or sixteen weeks depending on the product.)
And see your vet about treating him for worms, because with kittens, fleas and worms go together pretty closely.

use a flea treatment for kittens. I'm not sure exactly where but I've seen them before. You could try places like Petco or Petsmart. If your still not sure what to do, call the vet and see what they say.

Go to your local vet and ask for a capstar. It is a small pill that will immediately kill fleas. Then in about another month you should be able to treat monthly with frontline or advantage.

Don't put any chemicals on him; he is too young. Get a flea comb to get them out and drown the fleas in soapy water.

Get a flea coller, or see at your local vet or groomer if they can flea drip him. you could try getting a flea shampoo for cats and bathe him urslef, but that may be hard since cats dont like water, i would leave it up to a professional. Hope i helped.=][=
