there belief system centers around a "circle". they don't understand the "earth shaking" horsepower. the chance that everyone competes at one time, kinda sorta like a bull running thru the streets in them foreign countries. everyones running at once, full of adrenalin and just "flat out" trying to stay alive. folks try and compare sporting events and its to no avail. figuratively speaking, you cant even compare the different motorsports. like the F-1's and the Indy's to the stock car. there two extremely different animals.sorry im babbling, you cant compare.period. for the folks that say nascar isn't a sport. in some ways, there right. are nascar drivers athletes? in some ways, there not. you train your body differently with the different entity's. all of the "ball" athletes couldn't run 200 mph, for 3-5 hrs. maybe Edwards could play with the best. he seems to be in tremendous shape, but hes about the only one. no nascar could play the "ball" sports professionally

Some people have different tastes. I used to be one of those mainly because I thought the tracks were lame because with the exception for a few were all ovals. But I started to watch more and more of it and I find it just as exciting because NASCAR is much more competative than all the other circuits only in NASCAR can you finish middle of the pack and be about 1 or 2 seconds behind. Yes it is a bunch of left turns but the fact that the final lap can theoretically be won by several cars makes up for it.

You can name any sport or anything else that people keep up with and there are people that don't like it and say crap about it.

Most people just get on the bandwagon of saying NASCAR is boring because thats what they heard from their friends, so they just go along with it never giving it a chance. Who cares though... they are the ones missing out.

They are ignorant of what NASCAR really is. I was one of those 10 years ago. I think golf is boring and will never watch or play it. However millions of people disagree. Just the way it is.

I agree to a point .Nascar keeps taking away from the car. NASCAR with all of the changes to the car, plate racing & the COT.A lot of people just watch because they like the wrecks.I would like to see more driver control drafting- passing.Back to front if you can get a run .More driver control.

Because of the length of the race. You see in Formula 1 the first car, that gets through the first turn, on the first lap wins the race. Then you can go home.

People always judge sports boring when they don't understand them.

But seriously, NASCAR really needs to start consistently enforcing its own rules. That's what has me on the verge of giving it up. They make up the rules as they go along.
