He should be charged with War crimes. Unlike Saddam Osoma did have out country attacked.
Didn't Bush say "Wanted dead or alive?"

Depends on who caught him and how, I suppose. He could be *cough* killed in a firefight and then no one has to actually kill him in a public arena. He could be brought to trial for war crimes and like Sadaam be seen as an unhinged nut job. I think by the end Sadaam was pretty much a laughing stock. But I would guess that since he took responsibility for crimes against the US he'd be tried there.

I don't think there is any doubt that he would be punished as severely as possible. My suggestion would be to do it as quietly as possible--he would simply disappear.
As to exactly how this would be done, we can cross that bridge once we catch the big toad. My personal suggestion would be to take him up to a very high tower, set him on fire and push him off, but that's more spectacular than he deserves.
The Saudis might like to take his head. I'd say let 'em but keep it quiet.
Let's not make him into a martyr.

If he is still alive, he absolutely needs to be captured alive. If he's killed, he'll become a martyr. Then we'll be fighting the memory of him forever.
He needs to be tried and executed by Muslims. If we try him--or even it he's tried in an international court, it'll be the same thing. He'll be put to death "by infidels" and be martyred.
If he's alive, his capture needs to be expertly executed. He would not make it easy to capture him alive. If he's certain his capture is imminent, he may have one of his own kill him with a standard US-caliber weapon. He cannot hope for martyrdom if he's captured alive and tried in a Muslim court.

Gather as much intel as possible by any means necessary and keep fighting against the next Muslim who would replace him and the many other arms of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Look what they did to Saddam Hussein. It is quite apparent what they intend to do with Osama if he is ever found. The only problem is, that you will see a 'new' Osama younger and way more canny to take his place. Don't kid yourself, someone is being groomed for that position, just as sure as someone is always being groomed for presidency.

Most likely we'd try to prosecute him. Hopefully he wouldn't have access to OJ or Michael Jackson's attorneys.

send him to somalia first, put him on trial where he bombed the u.s. embassy and killed innocent somali citizens. and then on to saudi arabia where he can be tried by his peers there for the death of muslim saudis.
let his own judge him.
