I really don't want to. Opening the car door just isn't me.

It would be nice if you did it anyway it would show you are a gentleman.

If you don't feel confident doing it, then don't, as it will probably just appear false. Try to be polite though. And as for a friendly date, surely the point of a date is to be more than friends? The person you are going on a date with might have different expectations from it than you.

In my history of relationships, no Guy has ever opened the Car door for me.

I don't really care about that really. However I do care if you don't hold a door open for me in a building and that very same door hits me on the face.

I wouldn't think too much into it really, half of us gals don't care.

The great thing about life is that you don't have to do anything.

Some woman and girls however think it is really sweet and are impressed by such a simple thing. It is such a small thing and can make the date so much better.

Does she have her own arms? Is she remotely feminist orientated?

Just weigh it up as you go along, aka - play it be ear.

Yes-- that is a dumb question-- you should do that for every lady... Did your mom not raise you with manners?

Do it anyway. It's the right thing to do. (And a good habit to develop).
