I'd suggest you log in to eBay and use the 'live help' feature and discuss your problem with one of the kind folks there. If you payed with Paypal you'll find your transaction is covered against fraudulent actions by vendors.
Also you can report DVD piracy direct to crimestoppers in the UK on tel: 0800 555 111
If you let them have the vendors name and address they'll do the rest.

Well, once I boguht "Dracula: Dead and Loving it" off ebay and as soon as I opened the box, I saw the DVD-R sign which showed piracy. Now I emailed the seller, simply saying that if he/she was going to selling DVD-R discs, they should be stated that way on the ebay page. Within an hour, I recieved a full refund (I never asked for it).
Also, I bought Doctor Who Series 1 boxset which turned out to be rips and I got all my money by telling the seller that if he DIDN'T pay up, I would report him.
So here are some reocmmended tips:
1) Email the seller saying if you don't get all your money by a certain date, you WILL report him to ebay and leave a neagtive review.
2) Or, whether you do the above or not, report him anyway. I knwo that sounds sneaky if you did threaten him and he paid up but hey wasn't he sneaky when he sold you those DVDs under false pretences?

As an prolonged-time eBay consumer, have faith me when I say that unfavourable comments will shop many others from a similar rip off. actually leave comments stating what occurred. additionally, of direction he left you useful comments. He offered you 2 pirated DVD's that he did no longer pay 2 cents for! He could no longer be happier with the transaction!

Use paypal and make a dispute.
If a item is a pirate thats gorunds to get your money back.
What i did last time i got a pirate i waited a week then put a claim in with paypal under the buyer protection and i told them the dvd never turned up that way they gave me my money back and i threw the pirate in the trash.
These people sell pirates it costs them 14p the disk and 20mins to download a movie off the net and they make a hugh profit its just wrong.

Ebay has rules & regulations about this and a security department to handle it You also said it was pounds so I am guessing you are not in the States. I cannot offer you legal advice if you are not in the States but I can tell you that there is no reason to NOT call the local Police and see if there is anything that can be done.
Good luck and I wouldn't send that crook anything else until you get your refund.

Let him know you are going to contact Ebay and the authorities if he doesn't send the rest of your money. Once you receive your money...or even if you don't, contact Ebay. They will kick him out and then call the 1-800 number on the beginning of dvd's to report him.

Are they pirate DVDs though?By law you are allowed to copy DVDs for back up purposes. You can make 1 copy of each DVD.All he has to say is he sold you these DVDs for back ups assuming you had the originals. That is legal, and the police can do nothing about it.That is how they get away with selling pirate DVDs on e-bay,and e-bay cant stop it either.

You should report him to you rlocak trading standards department. The film studio may also want to know - and will act. Ebay is meant to be clamping down on this, so I'd email them again, copying in your correspondence with the film studios/trading standards.
You could also contact FACT at www.fact-uk.org.uk

Report it to the local police or trading standard. In reality, you returning them can get you done for providing counterfiet DVDs.
Gotta be careful!
Ebay should want to know as the law has been broken.
