The great thing about sexual harassment law is that it also includes clients in addition to coworkers, supervisors, etc.
Make sure you document every call...keep a journal or something. Include dates, times, and what was said. That documentation will come in handy if any of this leads to going to court.
You should talk to your supervisor and tell him/her what is going on. If he/she doesn't take you seriously...keep going up the chain of command. You have the right to work without being harassed. It's part of the employer's responsibility to keep their employees safe as well.
Definitely ignore this creep. Giving him any reaction is just what he wants. Don't play into it. Maybe he will get bored with it when he realizes that you aren't affected by the things that he says.
Lastly, because this guy is a client you have all his contact information. If things persist or escalate...get law enforcement involved. Even if you think you are overreacting...it never hurts to be on the safe side. If you file a report, regardless if charges are pressed, there will be a record of the report at the police station.

This is the equivalent to being harassed in the workplace. No one has to put up with that. Tell your boss and the human resources department. Ask if you can work on a phone line that is taped. It really helps if they can play it back to this person. Is the "client" just an employee at another company? If so, that person's boss should be told. If they don't stand by you, call the police and say that you feel threatened and stalked.
After speaking with your boss and the HR department, simply say to this caller:
"I am sorry, did you wish to speak to Mr. Boss (name)?"
If he says no just you. Just say "Please don't call here unless you have business issues to discuss. Thank you Mr Doe and have a nice day." Hang up without waiting for him to retort. Keep doing it until it sinks in.

You seem to know who this person is. In order of things to do:
1) Tell your employer so they know you're not just stuffing a customer around
2) Tell him you are not interested, you find his behaviour bizarre and creepy
3) Ignore him, hang up. He is getting his jollies from your responses even if they are telling him he's a creep (he will probably justify it to himself in some way like "she likes it dirty". Remember this is not a normal behaviour so you can't apply normal thinking)
4) Record the calls/put them on loud speaker for a reliable witness
5) Take out a restraining order and/or use a standard referee's whistle and blow hard and loud into the receiver!
Whatever you do - do not humour him in any way.
(If your employer does not support you on this - get a new job. No client is worth the welfare of my staff)

First inform your employer, than let the customer know that you have informed people such as your lawyer about these disturbing calls and would like him to stop. If the calls continue you can contact the police, get a restraining order, or have your employer speak with the client.
If you want to be rude tell him you know where he lives and your husband just got out of prizon, and he would like nothing more than to meet with him.

You absolutely have to report this to your boss and/or your HR department. And you need to be clear with this guy that you do not appreciate his comments and he needs to stop immediately. Then follow-up with your boss and/or HR to make sure they've taken action on this. This is harassment, and it needs to be dealt with right away. You can also call his boss and let his company know this guy is harassing you.
Don't assume it will just stop or that this guy isn't really some kind of wacko. Odds are he's harmless enough, but you should never take chances like that.

You need to tell your supervisor about that. You have the right to report it to the police. I know that he is a client and you don't want to report him to the police. The best thing for you to do is to talk to your supervisor about it.

I always pretend I can't hear them. I tell them we must have a bad connection and I hang up. It usually takes the wind out of their sails. You must tell your boss who this creep is and ask him/her to deal with him personally.

Dont believe what he's telling you, he probably lives near where you work. I would call the law anyways and tell them someone is harrasing you and u have the right to press charges.
