Just curious, we have recently been given a soldiers name with FOB Warrior in his title to correspond & send care packages to.

FOB Warrior is the name of the Forward Operating Base located at Kirkuk Air Base in Iraq. Is is approximately 150 miles north of Baghdad. It is a very large base and houses operations for thousands of military.
The 25th Infantry Division, whose home base is Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, has been deployed there for the last 15 months. Approximately 7,000 soldiers will be returning to Hawaii by the end of October. My son will be one of those returning soldiers.
Bless you for adopting a soldier. It is very much appreciated by those who are deployed, defending the "American Way". They are all heroes and should be remembered every day.

FOB is Forward Operating Base....Warrior is just the name they picked because we Soldiers are all "Warriors".

It stands for "Forward Operating Base Warrior". A name given to a temporary base in the Iraqi Theater of Operations.
