If a man or woman has sufficiently developed abdominal muscles and the layer of fat covering those muscles is thin enough then the muscles will show up as six individual blocks of muscle.

In order to achieve this appearance, you would need to do consistent abdominal exercises and burn off the fat on your whole body with plenty or cardiovascular exercise plus a fat restricted diet. Actually, that's kind of simplifying things but it's a reasonable summary.

It's what guys call their abdominal muscles when they are toned and outlined and look good. "six pack abs".

when you have six ridges on your belly!!! just do push ups and pull ups.
