If you mean like a butternut squash, then in a food storage container (think: Rubbermaid or Tupperware) about 5 days is pushing it......Heck, all you need are some pork chops to go with the squash and you have dinner!!! Enjoy!!

I baked two acorn squash this past Monday. By today, Friday, I threw out what I didn't eat because they tasted bad. So, 4 days in tupperware in the fridge is how long they last.

The buternut squash is good if the outside is intact. Once it is cut it may start decay. Hard skinned squashes kept all winter.

Frozen up to 6 months, in the frig, I'd throw it out after more than 4 days.

I would not keep it any more than a week. Always look and smell before you reheat. If it looks or smells funky....When in doubt, throw it out!
