if it wasnt for the theology of the godhead, I might never have joined the LDS church. despite what christianity says is true what do mormons and jehova witnesses say?

I personally am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses. As such I don't believe in the idea of the Trinity.

First of all the word trinity comes from Tertullian in the second century. His idea was not how it is being interpreted by evangelicals of today.
The Nicene creed which explained it says One God made of One substance....
The difference with both Mormons and JW's is that the Bible is very clear that both Jesus claimed to be Yahweh equal and of the same essence as the God of the old testament.
This is the historical belief of the true churches in all of History. Even the Catholic church with all it's aberrations and additions holds the true historical believe that Jesus is both God and man.
You can research this by going on youtube and listening to Josh McDowell.

There is no reason to use the word trinity or agree with the false concepts it gives people.

You're Mormon and you're asking what Mormons believe, yet that is the reason you converted??? I don't get it.
