John 10:30
Me and my Father are one
Now, i can look in many bibles and find this apart from yours.
Your speical bible ,the new world translation, or the
New world order translation as it should be known, which was written in the 1950's magically replaces all aspects of Jesus as God
which is why you can only quote the NWT and you can't use any other bible
it's a bit like reading a japanese textbook and wondering why the Nanking Rapes which happened in China by the japanese military are never mentioned
anyway
Joshua 5:13-18
Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, Are you for us or for our enemies?
Neither, he replied, but as commander of the army of the LORD I have now come. Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, What message does my Lord have for his servant?
Joshua bows to an angel and is not rebuked, guess why?

Honest chick, what says your book ?
all bibles are false?
every single one
and the only true one is the new world translation written in 1950?
with every aspect of Jesus as God removed
is that what makes your book "the one"
I am simply asking you to look at the evidence
Explain to me, why Joshua is bowing to this angel, when John bows to Gabriel , Gabriel rebukes him, When JOshua bows before the Angel of the Lord, it is accepted
this is evidence as in John 10:30
that God and his son are one

Johnny,
the jehovah witness do not accept Jesus as incarnate Jehovah God as they reject the validity of the scriptures as interpreted in anything except the new world translation of the holy scriptures.
There was a gentleman by the name of Thayer, who did not believe Jesus to be Incarnate God, but he created a lexicon and was intellectually honest, and notes that in the original text, there is the declaration that there are multiple persons who are the GodHead.
In the babtism of Jesus, you have Jesus in the water, the Holy Spirit decending as a dove and the Father speaking from heaven saying, this is my beloved Son.
the Jehovah Witness do not deny this happened, only they do not see the Holy Spirit as anything except God's power, like electricity, or some other force.
When Ananius lied about the money he recieved for selling the land, Peter says to him, you have not lied to men, but to the Holy Spirit. It is not possible to lie to electricity or some other non-living force. You can only lie to a living thing. This alone should establish the diety of the Holy Spirit, but they do not accept it.
In order for a Jehovah Witness to see that Jesus is God, you need to define your terms. Jesus is not the arch angel micheal, resurrection is not God remembering what you are like and creating and exact image, but raising your body, the one you lived in, and rejoining your spirit to that body.
all cults have their own unique language and you need to address the barriers that these good people are blinded with. I have a number of people I know who are Jehovah Witness and I know when they die, they start to pray someone will deliver the message of Jesus the LORD to the ones they love and that those people will listen.
The folks here who say they do not want to be with God in Heaven and would rather be in hell, just have not thought this through. I have been in horrible situations, a living hell if you will and I knew it would end. The real hell does not and hope is the first thing that is stripped away from a lost soul.
keep praying, keep your eyes on Jesus.

If the trinity was so important why did God never inspire the word trinity to be written in scripture?
Why did Jesus never give us a illustration to teach us the trinity?
The term God the Son is no where to be found just like the man made word trinity.
Just like Jesus says, you do not know his Father.
You ignore Jehovah and put all emphasis on Jesus.
How do you think that makes Jesus feel?
John 3:16 is simple right? God gave his only begotten Son.
Why do you continue to teach the trinity?
Have you ever researched the trinity?
If Jesus was God John would have never said in John 1:18 that no man has seen God.
John would have been denying that Jesus was God.

The angel didn't rebuke Joshua because Joshua was bowing out of respect and honor for the angel. He asked him about a message, angels are messengers, so he was not talking directly to God. You are really grasping at straws to try and prove that Jesus is God, with little innuendos such as this.
Mr. Magnetic_azimuth: Ananias and his wife evidently committed the unforgivable sin we have read about, against the holy spirit.
Acts 4:31 says: And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the holy spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. NASB How do you get filled with a person?
Also, and what cult do you belong?

before everything, Jesus is Jehovah God, the Almighty. Jesus isn't his own Father. This heresy comes from a complete misrepresentation, and false impression of the Holy Trinity. interior the Holy Trinity, 3 seperate individuals are one God. The Son (Jesus) is endlessly begotten by utilizing the daddy (it is, he's not created besides the undeniable fact that the word 'begotten' refers to their courting as Father and Son). The Holy Spirit is proceeding from the daddy. the daddy is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. there is not any longer 3 Gods yet ONE God. Jesus is the Son of the daddy, and as the daddy is God, Jesus is the Son of God. that would not propose that Jesus is his own Son, nor that the daddy is his own Father. some human beings might want to ask "How are the three human beings one God?" the easy answer is that no one is known with of, as to carry close the precise courting between the persons of God, might want to be to carry close the guidelines of God. no one can no the guidelines of God, yet God himself. that is why Jesus says: "no one is known with of the Son except the daddy, and no one is known with of the daddy except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to bare him." (Matt. 11:27B)

1st because of the uneducated bias found on this site,
I rarely use the NWT in my quotes.
John 10:30 reads "I and the Father are one"
One what?
The context shows it to be works.
Read starting from vs. 25 and count the number of times the word 'work / s' appears.
In vs 36, Jesus denies being God, but God's Son.
In vs 32 -35, Jesus equates his godship with the human judges at Ps. 82:18
Jos. 5:13-18,
If all bowing down to others besides God is wrong,
Then why are non faithful Jews commanded to worship Christians?
Rev 3:9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Please note what Manoah did to the angel of Jehovah at Judges 13:21But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.
22And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.
It was common practice to honor representatives of Jehovah.

While Trinitarians are quick to assume that expressions such as "I and the Father are one," is the same thing as saying 'I am God,' the Scriptures indicate otherwise. In the 17th chapter of John, for example, Jesus acknowledged his oneness with God and asked his Father's blessing upon his disciples that they may be one with them.
Certainly no reasonable person would conclude that Jesus was saying that all Christians are God or part of some kind of multiple Godhead.

Not a JW, but I feel compelled to answer easy questions. And only easy because it's a matter of reading the whole book and when reading make sure that either the book, Gospel or Letter corroborates with what your citing.
Are we to assume Joshua "worshipped" in the same manner John did?
Compare Rev 19:10... Did John get rebuked?
(NWT) "At that I fell down before his feet to worship him. But he tells me: “Be careful! Do not do that! All I am is a fellow slave of you and of your brothers who have the work of witnessing to Jesus. Worship God; for the bearing witness to Jesus is what inspires prophesying.”
Is his Gospel John quotes the Christ saying "I and Father are one"
This same phrase is expressed again by the Christ in John 17:20,21
(NIV) "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
Take Care Everybody.

Remember the father in the illustration of the prodigal son? He to fell to his knees in front of his son, was he worshipping him?
There are many faiths who plainly see that Jesus is God's son, yet for some reason I mainly see the question directed at Witnesses.
We use many translations of the Bible.

Why do you insist on quoting scripture? Your book is known to be altered and changed. If you don't know what was changed, you have to assume all of it is false.
