It's called life. Although sometimes i wonder the same thing...
Depending on what your actual beliefs are it can be for a variety of reasons but I personally believe that we are meant to learn from the bad things, that is how we grow as a part of humanity. A lot of the time bad things happen because people invite it (directly or indirectly). Depending on how you act or react to situations.

We're human, with mortal lives and mortal conditions. Even taking a religious standpoint you can't ignore this. Assume for a second that the bible is true and G-d gave everyone free will. Well gee...FREE WILL. Meaning, humanity has the ability to make choices for itself, even if they're bad ones. We're subject to the laws of nature and the actions of not only ourselves, but of other people. We have to deal with that. We're human.

Bad things happen to everyone in some form or another. If being good kept bad things from happening, I'll bet we would have a much better world.

We live in a random universe in which things happen. People are often involved when they do. Whether the people are good or bad has no effect on such things that happen. Rain falls on everyone. Earthquakes don't ask for a testimonial from one's neighbors.

The devil is running things? God is asleep or turned off his hearing aides? Who knows? It isn't right. Maybe we need to pray louder so God can hear us better?
Life can be like a box of chocolates..or like a box of rocks. It is like a roller coaster ride that goes up and down and is fun sometimes and scary other times. We are all here for the ride.

It happens to ALL people!
We get over it and go on to the next problem in line. Thank God we get breaks in between!
I wouldn't be here today if bad was always happening to me!

that is a good question because i no my heart mean well and i love the lord and his word but bad things still be happening to me but i think that have alot to do with the people you have around you cause negative energy don't bring nothing but negativity which god don't approve of so he punishes for being disobedient
