Sounds like the prof is worried that too much knowledge would eliminate the essential element of faith and trust in God. I would disagree. The Bible is filled with people who met God, witnessed His power up close and personal, yet still sinned and turned from Him. Knowledge does not always lead to good choices.

There are not separate kinds of logic called "Christian logic" and "atheist logic". It's either logical or it's not.

This statement does not involve logic at all. It's a proposition, a statement of this guy's opinion. He doesn't speak for all Christians. He's not the Pope.

So one man's comment (presented without surrounding context, of course) is used to draw conclusions of the beliefs of over 2 billion people?
Cool, I am sure that non-Christians as individuals have probably said plenty, that we could post with your same logic and cast entire masses of people as ignorant by association too, right?

If think that if your attack is emblematic of whatever your beliefs compatriots logic is, than perhaps whatever it is you believe, and those who share that belief are at least as stupid, and ignorant as the post of this one man.

More bullshit from yet another "academic" who has clearly spent his life in the so-called "hallowed halls of education" totally divorced from reality, and has no experience of real life. I would suggest that he goes out and finds himself a proper job.
