I am a black woman aged 35 years. My husband is a white man aged 55 years. We have a domestic worker, she is 27 years and she is black. Her husband is 30 years, he is white. They live on our property and they have a child together who is 7 years. The problem is he is very angery. He calls his father "white bas***d" and the father he calls him "black b***ard". I want to have baby but not with this, what must I do?

I'm not really sure if I understand your situation completely, but based on my assumption of what you're saying, you're probably outta luck on this one. If the man is callin' the boy a black bastard, whether the child is calling him a white bastard or not, that's showing that he's racist, and you can't really change a person who's like that. Especially not an older person.

Sorry.

If you want a child than get these people off your property. They sound awful. Why would a father call his son that and why would a seven year old ever say something like that? They don't sound like very good people. There is no reason a family should act that why just because they are interracial, that's insane!

Butterfly-
let's get real here....you are the employer. You MUST take your employee aside and let her know that behavior is unacceptable, and that it reflects upon her negatively.
Inform her that if the unacceptable behavior does not stop, they will be given a 30 day notice to move. You would like to keep her as an employee, but cannot justify this bad behavior.

good luck :)

Iwould talk to your employee and let her know in no uncertain terms do you want to hear that type of talk in your home or on your property.Let her know that you are putting her on notice that if she cannot persuade her husband and son to stop that behaviour you will be forced to terminate her.Let her know that their behaviour is denying you the peaceful enjoyment of your home.Let her know you are disappointed in the language. You would not tolerate it in a stranger and will not tolerate it in someone who is disrespecting you and your home(.I would check to see if she could be terminated on that basis before you say anything about terminating her.Obviously termination would also mean she would lose her acomodations.)

oh my goodness

talk to them...if it is YOUR property you and your husband have the right to explain to them that this kind of language is negative and should be censored

before you throw around your ownership of the property, talk to the couple and say it is not good for them or their child to use such negative language

even if you are the owners you still have to keep to your contract with this couple

talk to them sensitively first, about how you worry for them and their child and then for your child, and if then they don't respond, then you need to say you don't want that language used around your child

say it firmly then

good luck

I was under the impression that the USA outlawed slavery in 1865. Get rid of your domestic workers and you won't have an issue.

You should kick them both off the property. Let the boy go to school and learn to respect his parents

the child says this? that is not a problem with race but a problem with parenting. he didn't make up those words nor does he even know what that means... he says this because this is what he hears at home! that's terrible!
