To everyone who "gave their own opinion" about your puppy being so young should reread the question. The question was not about the puppy being so young...the question was about him being potty trained! So, please edit your answers! Anyway...

You are well on your way to having a fully potty trained puppy! Congrats! One piece of advice...have patience!!!

Your dog is too young to even be away from its' mother! Most reputable breeders will not sell a dog until it is at least 8 weeks old. Before that it still needs the pack mentality of being with its' mother and litter mates to help it learn good "dog manners." Now on to answering your question.
Your dog may not be reliably "house trained" at so young an age. Most puppies can only hold their bladder/feces for as many months as they are +1 hours. So since your pup is only about 1 month old, it can only really *reliably* hold himself for two hours. Get some puppy milk from the petstore and mix it with whatever you are feeding him. It has nutrients he needs still at so young an age. Keep being consistent with the house training and bringing him outside for a few more months.

He is not only too young ot train he is too young to be away form mom and littermates. If you are in the US in most states it is against the law to buy, sell, adopt or give away ANY puppy that has not completed it's 7th week and in many states it's 8 weeks.

A responsible breeder NEVER, EVER lets a puppy go to a new home that young!!!

OMG...5 weeks is waayyy to early for a pup to pass to a house. i'm no longer able to have faith he's thoroughly weaned and that the breeder enable you to have him at this type of youthful age. way way way too youthful..undesirable component. i might soak so pup meals in heat water. If he does not consume that, grind the meals up in a blender and combine it with water so it fairly is straightforward to consume. His teeth are in all probability no longer waiting to truly chew great chunks. he's no longer stable in all probability via fact he's so youthful and did no longer get adequate exercising earlier he got here to you this might get extra appropriate if he's given area to stroll around. provide him a great form of TLC and stable success with him. He relatively desires you presently which you are the only one there for him. He in all probability misses his mom and muddle friends.

Yes he is way to young to be trained. Your very lucky to have him even give you any warning. Why are you carring him all over the place. He's too young to even had any vaccinations yet! He needs to be safe at home not beeing around and about. He needs vet check up too! 5 weeks old is way to young to be away from mom too!

Keep him safe at home and until he has his vaccinations Keep him there!

Good Lord!

Awwh.....I love english bulldogs!! It is great he is naturally going outside!! Unfortunately you are going to keep busy while he is so young he cant hold his bladder I would take him out every half hour, and IF YOU PUT MILK IN FOOD he will have diariah if too much but don't water it down with water in the milk. Just be careful, and good luck!!

That's pretty young. Also, at that age they don't have great bladder control. So try to be patient with him, and keep taking him out regularly.
