Neither of us were virgins, but see below. Looks like I'm ok though.

If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her ... and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: And the damsel's father shall say ... these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. ... But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die. Deuteronomy 22:13-21

This should be a very sincere spiritual crisis for you if you are a TRUE CHRISTIAN who understands that the Bible is the absolute, complete and total WORD OF GOD and must be taken as literal truth and followed as a guidebook for life in every single situation. I know it is hard, but clearly, my friend, you must get all your local menfolk together and throw rocks at your wife until you have murdered her. It is obviously what God wants for you--it is what the Bible says. If the authorities try to arrest you, we will all recognize you as a matyr for the Lord.

Ha ha, I know you! I've seen answers from you before, enough to understand that you're making a point about people who will fight tooth and nail to defend the literal interpretation of SOME bible passages (homosexuality is an abomination, the Genesis story is exact fact not open to interpretation, etc.), but the same people will ignore passages such as these. It turns into a convenience, or worse, into people using the bible to back up their crusade-of-the-moment.

I also think it's funny that there are enough wackos on Y!A that would post something like this in seriousness that there are a good number of people who answered you thinking you were being serious. Kudos on the sarcasm, too bad it doesn't translate:-)

Best of luck with your wife, you darn heathens ;-)

What should you do? Read the New Testament. Start with Romans which explains what the law is about. The Old Testament contains the New. The New Testament explains the Old.

To give you a hint, the purpose of old testament law is to show we are sinners, which leads to death. Without the law, how would we know? This law is saying that people that have sex outside of marriage deserve to go to Hell. All is not lost though since you can be forgiven through Jesus. A fool does not rightly divide the observe of reality in the Bible. That is going for atheists, besides as for Christians. I come right here maximum days for a speedy mutually as, attempting to instruct professing Christians what it skill to rightly divide the observe of God, and what the preaching of Jesus Christ in accordance to the revelation of the secret is, and what it skill. In His earthly ministry to the Jews of Israel, the Lord Jesus became introduced a woman that became caught in the act of adultery. In attempting to capture the Lord Jesus, the Jewish Pharisees and Sadducees asked Him what could desire to be performed along with her, via fact the regulation stated as for her to be stoned. The Lord Jesus picked up a stone, and advised them that the single of them that became with out sin could desire to forged the 1st stone. needless to say, no stones have been thrown. Do you're taking any lesson from that? I heavily doubt it.....

You sound like a genuine sexist. You have a double standard, and think you should be the king of your home, regardless of your ability to manage the dynamics necessary for your position. You think females are inferior, and what is this thing about virginity. If all females maintained their virginity until they marry, where and with whom would all the horney guys get there sexual activity. Males used to want their wives to be virgins so the guys sexual ability could not be compared to any other guy. Talk about insecurity. It is wonderful that virginity has lost its value in many cultures.

Nobody should ever take the Bible literally, especially the Old Testament. Otherwise, you'd also think it wise to throw your daughters to be raped by villagers before house guests as Lot did.

The Bible, at most, should be seen as a loose moral guidance book, but most passages should certainly not be taken literally.

That's clearly contradicted... I mean, overruled... in, eh, somewhere in the new part for sure. Yes. Definitely. Deut is out of contention on the matter, but the rest of it is still the absolute truth. Except where it's contrad--- overruled by subsequent texts. Indeed. So you see?

The Bible also allows you to escape that punishment. Look up the passages concerning the sin offering. By acknowledging your sin and offering a sacrifice to god, you are proclaiming your faith in His forgiveness of your sin by accepting a substitutiary death for you and your wife.

This points to the final sacrifice of Jesus, and his completed work on the Cross.

The bible says this, God the Father did not, and His Son listen and speaks only what the Father in heaven told Him to speak. Jesus said, judge not, lest you be judged.
God the Father said, Thou shall forgive all manner of tresspasses or He will not forgive you your tresspasses.
