You call THAT evolution?

I call it "more of the same nonsense by different names".

Well, Martin Luther wrote those notes to stop corruption. These notes where a good way to reveal the wrong-doings of the priests , monks , arcbishops and others at that time. They used to prevent people from reading the Bible which was only available to the priests , monks and so, since it was not witten in Latin which was the language if the ppl at that time. They used to take money from them saying they would pay them forgivness checks. They made Priesthood hereditary to the princes because it was prestegious at that time , and many other shameful things.

Martin Luther revealed all these things . Some people found in these notes he wrote an outlet of their anger, they believed in his thoughts, and protested against the Catholic church , so they became Protestants. Protestants only believe in the Bible. They believe not in authorities called monks or bishops or so. We dont believe in collective worship and collective relation with God, we believe that every person must have a personal relationship with God. Fasting also, should not b at certain times of the year.

After the church was redirected correctly and truthfuly , Catholicism was another denomination of Christianity along with Protestantinism , vis. those who were freed from authorities , continued on that line ( being Protestants)

Good Luck!!

They didn't evolve. They separated from Catholicism, like king Henry VIII, that separated from the Church to divorce his wife Catalina and marry Anne Boleyn.
That was a political dicision.
If the king wanted to do that, it is his personal business, but it doesn't mean that the rest of the world wishes to do the same

I think the better question is, did you know Martin Luther never intended to break off from the Catholic church? He only wrote the these to end the corruption!
So Protestantism is one big misunderstanding!

Yet true Christians are directly from Jesus Christ. Catholics are not saved Christians, nor were they the "first christians". Jews were the first Christians.

And yes, I'm aware of your "evolution" argument parody.
