I'd like to de-flea my house (I have only seen fleas on myself & stray kittens i just brought into my home) but before it gets too crazy i want to nip it in the bud.

I know there are TONS of products out there, but i'm afraid to use any of it because of harsh chemicals. Any suggestions?

zodiac for the house. for the kittens you need to speak to a vet but start combing them with a flea comb and place in a bowl of hot soapy water to drown the fleas you need to get the comb right in the water tho. i can'tuse chemicals on my cats or kitten so if i get fleas on them or in the household it is a nightmare.

Flea eggs dehydrate and don't hatch if the moisture in the air is too low. Do you have a dehumidifier? Plug it in and let it work, with the windows closed, to take as much water out of the air as possible.

Skoosh. (that's the name of a spray by the way!)

It's the only one I know of that actually does kills the eggs and pupae. It's also a good one if you're not fond of chemicals, because it kills the flea mechanically rather than chemically, by coating them in a silicone-like spray. Have a look at www.skooshthefleas.com for where you can get it.
