"In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God." Jesus is The Word, of course. Sounds pretty existent to me.
Now when God spoke a Word and things happened, that was Jesus, my man; hard at it, long before He was in human form.
Jesus has been here from the outset, and will be standing when the dust clears. Good luck dissing The Big Guy and His holy rollers!

Jesus Christ existed as the pre-existant eternal Word of God. The Word Of God is God the Son/Son of God. God The Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three distinct beings that are one God.
GOd the Son incarnated himself in The Blessed Virgin's womb, to become The God-Man, The Christ, Savior of the world.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

In response to your question of what was Jesus doing before he was born...
"He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him." Colossians 1:15-16
Speaking of Jesus; "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:3

If man thinks he is god of the earth, was there a time when he was not god of the earth and if there was a time when he was not god then what happens when that time comes around again?
Does this not suggest a futile attempt on the part of man to believe that he controls the future? Like all false gods they have their day, then they are no more.
