Sometimes I feel like since I'm black (i have caramel skin), that i have to dress a certain way, or if i dont black people will ask "why do you dress like that", i dress the way i want because i want to. i dress my self nicely and actually have style. or if i dont know a certain dance then i'm not "black", so whats wrong? just because im black, does that mean i have to act a certain way the way black people think i should?

cause all i know, it doesnt matter what race you are, that there is no certain way you should act just because the color of your own skin.

You are absolutely right. You should just act in a way that comes natural to you. You are simply you and you shouldn't have to pretend to be someone else.

I think it's really stupid to think that a certain behavior or style "belongs" to some race and that everyone should "act their own race". Why does it have to be so much about race? Why can't we just be individuals, each with our own style, taste and personality? I think it's just ignorant and narrow-minded people who expect you to "act your own race". My advice is to ignore them and just be yourself.

You should act and dress the way you want. In life you will find a lot of people wont like the way act or dress, forget about them and just be yourself.

Tough question, you could get away with whatever you wanted but sound like want more. Are you comfortable being where you are? Sounds like you want to choose sides. Is there no way that you can just be you without choosing racial priorities? You could actually just be a person instead of a person who chooses to MAKE a different attitude.

Your second paragraph is wisdom beyond your years. Good job.

What if: Tiger Woods didn't play golf because it's "a white thing"?
What if Enimen didn't rap because it's considered "a black thing"?
or Yao Ming didn't play basketball because he's Chinese.

It's take some real courage to stand up for what you believe. I think with your beliefs, you'll go far. :-)
