No, any IRS liability they'd find in the audit won't be affected by bankrupcy.

Bankruptcy does not stop the audit. IRS does not want to do an audit if there is nothing there so it may be an indication that that the audit should be tanked. It depends on what you have that would survive bankruptcy.
