Go to window _ type_character and a little window will pop up and you can select what font you want from that. Make sure you have the text selected that you want changed, or it wont do anything!

I forget exactly, as I don't have it on this comp, but...On the menu, click Window>Paragraph (or something like that) and the paragraph / font window will open. There you can change the font. OR, I forget where it is, you can click the A icon on the drawing toolbar which brings up the Text to type, and that generally brings up the editing window as well. If not, right click a text you have and click the Font or Paragraph or something similar. As I said, I don't have Illustrator on this system, so I forget exactly. Hope it helps.
