As a Christian, the thought of anyone burning in Hell hurts me deeply! In the end, God will judge, and none of us know enough to say for sure who will burn and who will not. To be just absolutely real, there are a lot of people who think they're going to Heaven that aren't, so that must mean that there are some people who we think are going to Hell that aren't. In the end, I'm glad it's God who has to sort all of that out and not me!

I would expect none. Firstly it would be exceedingly un-Christian of any Christians to actually enjoy the thought of another human in such intense suffering. Secondly the atheists themselves do not believe in hell so obviously have no concept of relishing anything associated with it.

I don't relish in the fact that anyone is going to hell. Hell is a horrible place. I wish no one was going there, but it is the individual's choice to go. I can't stop them, unfortunately.

I would think an atheist has a better chance of getting to Heaven than a hypocrite. Funny that most people who experience a hell-like realities in Near Death Experiences are ministers. Which shows your thinking creates the Reality!

You know, I don't like it when atheists ask questions just looking for a reaction from Christians. But as a Christian, your question bothers me more than theirs do.
My pastor says it best: God's not going to force anyone to accept Him. But He's also not going to deny them the choices they make, including the one of where they will spend eternity.
Then, my mother had a saying: you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. With statements like you made, it's more of a turnoff toward religion than anything.
But Jesus said it best:
Luke 6:27-28 But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

I'd like to know why The Nolte answered the way he did.
Toffeefan, respectfully, i suspect this question came from a youngling who thinks she is an atheist and wants to bring the fundies out screaming judgments. We'll be able to tell by which answer she picks for the best.
This question seems to appear once a week. What-say we ignore it next week?

I don't think anyone could RELISH in the pain of another person. I can't say they are going to burn in Hell. I will leave judgement to God and take care of my own short comings.

I DON'T. I want to see them on thier way to eternal life. I don't relesh in the fact that anyone is going to hell. They don't derseve hell any more than I do, so I wouldn't relesh in thier damnation as I would over my own. I wish they would just recieve Christ and be saved from hell.

Christians watching the hellcams will likely enjoy the irony of watching atheists wandering around hell, rolling their eyes and saying, "Man, I don't BELIEVE this!"
