Do you feel a closer bond/stronger love with your wife/gf if you share a child with her compared to a wife/gf that you don't. What i mean is does a child bring you closer to someone? And NO i don't plan on getting myself pregant to get a guy to like me more thats not what i'm asking.

When I was a kid I believed this to be true. That by having a kid with my girlfriend that we would be that much more mature etc. Well we did have a child together but marriage only lasted for 2 years, so it didn't bring us any closer together. When I married the second time and was a little more mature (Ha!) for a while the birth of our children did actually bring us closer together. But like all people eventually our relationship was personalized with the kids and so we remained close but not for the kids. This marriage also ended but in both relationships I was lucky enough to remain friends with both of these ladies. Alcohol/drugs also played a major role in both of these failed relationships. Luckily I got sober quiet a while ago and so am now able to give my present wife the love, respect and trust that all woman deserve.

Children most of the time unless it is planed and well thought out and prepared for, cause a huge wedge between male and female.
