i have been trying to eat healthy and i have some unsalted dry roasted peanuts, and they are so good and i can't stop eating them, i know they are high in fat, but it is the good fat, and also they are low carb, with on cholesterol or sodium, they are high in potassium and protein. i feel like such a pig, because i am only supposed to eat a hand full, but since i have cut out sweets high in fat and sugar and carbs, i need something to make up for that and i am tired of eating fruits and veggies all day. but really is this bad (i do plan on working out today also)

Peanuts are low in carbs? Really? I thought the opposite.
Good fat? It's still 9 calories for every gram of fat.

Is it bad? Not if you do this every day. A slip once a month isn't as bad as doing it every day or two.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about what you just did. Just don't keep doing it on a regular basis.

Good or bad fat it's still a lot of fat. Nothing you can do about it after the fact but it does bring out the point about how difficult it is to eat a drastically different diet (and I'm not saying that you necessarily do this) from what you're used to eating. The old saying that you should eat like you plan on eating for the rest of you life still holds.

I like salty boiled peanuts myself. I do not know how many peanuts a person is supposed to safely consume. I do know this, Nobody around here has ever ate too many!
