Our bodies are our own. We have every right to decide if we want an abortion. I would prefer people used a good birth control, but I have personally gone with 2 good friends who had abortions, this goes back over 30 yrs ago. One friend already had 3 kids and she and her husband didn't want another, the other friend wasn't married yet, but was engaged and they did not want a child before their marriage began. I believe situations arise when it is mandatory, rape, incest, knowing the child will be severly retarded, or con-joined, so I agree with you, that the wrath of the religious fanatics who think that everyone should listen to them, should MYOB.

Personally I think there should be standers such as if a woman is visously raped (and it will do great harm to the woman to carry the child), or there is a medical issue where both mother and child will be lost then in MY opinon an abortion is ok because it will do no good to anyone what so to meantally harm a person or force them to carry a child that will kill them.
HOWEVER I feel that if "you" willingly had sex and got pregnant and plan to use it as a form of birth control because you dont want to own up to the responsibility then NO you shouldnt have an abortion. have the baby and give it up for adoption so someone who cant have a baby will have one.
But its really up to peoples personal views.

Honestly, because more people think it is wrong than right. Not be be hypocritical but it is killing a baby and is even illegal after a certain point in the pregnancy. What is the problem with giving the baby up for adoption? Think about that, and also, wouldn't you rather know that the pregnancy was worth it and the baby is safe with someone who has the money and a good enough reputation to adopt a child. A lot of people adopt when they have a miscarriage. Wouldn't you want your child to make people happy and live and know he's yours.

There is a difference. Begging a woman to have an abortion would be begging to murder.
'Begging' a woman not to have one is simply asking her to realize that there are other options out there. Abortion is not the answer.
I am pro-choice all the way...as long as it is a long, thought out process. Not a rash decision that some dumb girl makes because she doesnt know how to be responsible.

Anyone who begs women not to have an abortion is simply trying to either save her soul or save the poor infant inside of her. Murder is a sin, and killing a "fetus" is murder. Life is defined by the existence of a pumping heart, blood, and multiplying atoms that continue to grow and split..... that is a fetus, and human being. Any woman who claims it is her "right" over her body and her own decision is exceedingly selfish and direly needs God's salvation in her life. There is always the choice of adoption, and when it comes to all the problems that having a child would cause, you should really think about that before having sex. Sex before marriage is wrong, and abortion is wrong no matter when. I'm sorry to sound so harsh here, but I'm merely stating God's truth.
God bless, and He loves you. He also loves all those murdered children. So many people want desparately to have a child and can't, why not give them the chance and give them your unwanted child?

ok, I happen to be pro-choice. you should see the reaction I got from people when I was in the LDS church and I had let that be known!! I was told i was going to hell because I believe that no one, man, woman , Priest, father of the baby, NO ONE should tell a woman( or girl, if that is the case) what to do with her own body. It is not their decision on what she is going through, they do not know the situation, and they do not have to deal with the outcome of the baby's life should she have the baby. I m very pro-choice, in fact. What goes on between a mother and her unborn baby is her business, no one else's between her and God, if she believes in Him. . I do not see anyone offering to support said baby should she have it, but people sure can judge her if she chooses to abort it. I placed two babies for adoption, because in Utah, it is verrrry expensive to have an abortion, so I didn't really have a choice, but I think it is up to the mother, and no one else. Also, in the scientific community, an unborn baby is considered a parasite, and the mother, a host, like head lice.

This is a forum for peoples opinions. If you don't want them, don't ask for them. Abortion is a personal issue that should be thought out and ALL facts considered.
I personally would not get one, I couldn't live with that decision. I don't condemn those who do get one. I DO NOT THINK the government should be involved with it or be forced to get involved with it.

Babies are very small and very few people will stand up for them. They are even smaller in the womb. And if you love baby's then you will speak up. Tell me why life isn't important just because someone doesn't bother taking a precaution? Very few people don't know that when you have sex you may conceive a baby. Responsibility and adulthood go together. A baby outside the womb will die without care and we are responsible. A baby inside the womb has a nervous system very early on and sucks it's thumb very early on. Baby's are baby's inside or outside the womb
LET'S LOVE THEM NOT KILL THEM.
