You know, people who think 'God' is telling them to bomb, to demonize, to spread hate and make their children little 'warriors' etc?

I wonder what the rest of you do to combat that? Do you target them as quickly, often and heavily as when you target atheists, homosexuals and people of other faiths than yours?

Funny how Matthew P likes to claim that Fundamentalist Muslims are terrorists but Christians aren;t.

Guess you weren't around in Ireland, England, Bosnia etc.

Are you saying fundamentalists don't bow up abortion clinics? Or kill their children because God told them to?

"They're just confused by the devil"

Someone in teh church I grew up in actually said that when a man blew up an abortion clinic. This was a very big day on my journey to becoming an atheist.

Depends if the media is around. If there is media present, they put on a show of being horrified by the violence but as soon as they're left alone, they pat the fanatics on the back and say, "Onward Christian soldiers!"

Become atheists.

Realize that your religion is just superstition, and that your superstitious bias is actually enabling the crazies in your midst.

A good place to start would be Sam Harris' book, "The End of Faith". In it, he artfully describes how even moderates are harmful in that they keep the fundies going.

a fundamentalist isn't someone who thinks God is telling them to be violent (unless they are moslems). a Fundamentalist of ANY stripe is one who holds strictly and literaly to the tennants of thier faith.
