I mean you have seen the state the world is in by "man's" great accomplishment right? And these same men who come up with great and lofty plans and schemes like getting a country trillions of dollars in debt while others starve, turn around and blame God for that atrocity?" too funny .....Hilarious in fact. I am so glad my future is in God's hands and not the hands of men and their little pea brains. Praise the LORD with me you who fear his name! :)

I don't agree with George Bush. I do believe we should have defensive military but I don't believe in this war.

Amen, Sister! It really is sad that some can't see that there is much more to life than their precious intellects- which GOD gave them. And how sad it must be to believe that this measly life on Earth is "as good as it gets".

I'm afraid God isn't going to save you in this world. Hundreds of devoted Christians have died in horrendous ways and lived suffering lives. Strangely, many people who have put their faith in their own intellect and the communal knowledge of factual science have fared very well. You might think humans have pea brains, but they are the most sophisticated peices of evolution man is ever likely to see, far more powerful than any computer. I would rather put my trust in my brain than in something that has no empirical evidence for existing.

"And these same men who come up with great and lofty plans and schemes like getting a country trillions of dollars in debt while others starve"

Didn't he claim God told him to do it?

Just because I don't believe in Jesus does not mean I trust all humans. I most certainly don't.

EDIT: That was the first time I was wished an awesome day after being told I had a pea-brain. ;)

And what will you do if God is an invention of the human brain? I don't trust the brain with all my might, I just try to use it for all its worth. Hence I am an atheist.

I'd rather have faith in humanity than in God. Humanity can at least have an observable effect on the world. God, not so much.

Besides, humans have done amazing things, as well as terrible things. Both bad and good have helped us develop and grow.

Oh that's funny!!!

Anyone who trusts in anything at all other than God will be greatly disappointed at best and I don't even want to know the worst.

I must say your question is pretty intriguing :)...why did you ask a question that you already know the answer to?...only God can be trusted because he is perfect and cares genuinely about us...

ciao and God bless you!

The man in charge of the trillions in debt is a fundie Christian named GW Bush. Your question is fallacious.

Go ahead and live in fear, as you admit in your last sentence.
