There is no difference between the two.
As much as we would like to believe otherwise, humans almost always make decisions based upon emotion, impulse, and pure sentimentality. Our decisions are *almost never* based on logic, reason, or ethics.
Most of what we consider "conscious thought" is based upon the concept of "meaning." However, meaning is merely an emotion: it can only exist where the brain assigns or interprets it. "Meaning" is "all in our head", it does not necessarily need to have any *real* relationship with the natural world.
In this sense, the thinking, conscious brain is merely an "appendage" of our emotional, instinctive, subconscious self.. All thinking or thoughts *must begin, and also end* with an emotional response.
Now, you don't have to take my word for it,

Well my head would always say the things I need, and would be reasoning, and understanding. But my hearts tells me what I want, what a normal person would feel. As a human, my heart is more selfish than my rational side.

Your head is the rational side and your heart is the emotional side. Your heart would be telling you to stay when your head tells you to leave....that type of thing. Your head is the intellectual part that would your gut thinking. For example, if your boyrfriend or husband cheated on you, your head tells you to get the heck out, but your heart wants to forgive and forget because you love him.

If they are talking at the same time you should discipline them - a time out or the like. If one talks louder than the other tell him/her to be quiet and 2 respect the other one... They should get along together... If they start fighting, don't take sides, be a neutral arbitrator and find a way to hold both responsible... Oh, and make sure you communicate with them, and treat them with respect 2.. It's a two way street.
