You'd be surprised how many men like to wear women's clothes. It's funny,but we dont bat an eye at women who wear pants and manish clothing,but if a man tries to do the womanly thing,we run around like the sky is falling. We have a very high end dress shop in town where men routinely shop for clothes. It's a little bit of a shock to walk into the store and see someone who looks like a fullback coming out of the dressing room,but you get over it. They're not doing anyone any harm, Just as long as my boyfriend doesnt want to borrow my underwear,I'm ok with it.

For me personally it is part;

* The clothes fit nicer, materials softer and there is miles more choice in what too where. I always wear womens jeans as they fit better and are made from thinner denim.

* escapeism. I can wear a nice dress, tights, heels and forget all about my 'macho' image and chill out with a nice glass of wine in front of the telly.

* I like to express my femine side and find it easier to do so in a skirt.

For the record; most crossdressers are straight and statistically are more stable and trusting (and trusted) partners.

because they like the feel of feminine clothes against their skin - because they are in touch with their feminine side - not all cross dressers are homosexual. We do not seem to have this argument over women dressing in trouser suits because the suit has been softened for female fashion but mens fashion can still have a lot of harsher materials. If you can afford luxurious menswear some of the designs are quite soft and feminine even though designed for men.

My b.f. wore a pair of my silk drawers, and then a thong, I regret to say I found the matter quite exciting, but I am too polite to mention it to him makes life more funny. But when it comes to men dressing up has laadeees, then quite personally it would pull my drawers up not down. Bet their friends don't know - Christ thats what's wrong with my window cleaner - clearly has man boobs and I have noticed the rather attractive make up. Well I ask you what next Graham Norton joining the clergy!! Nuttas thats all - nor harm.

Coal miners used to wear tights under their trousers in winter to keep them warm

Who cares, its only material. why should the shape and the cut cause people to run around shouting about it

Women wear trousers, but thats socially accepted now so its 'ok'. Or are some on here saying all women who wear trousers are mentally ill also?

Think about it. Its only cloth

Some men are pre-op transexuals. I have met transexuals. They dress like women and wear wigs...they want to have sex with men. It is a type of homosexuality.
Some men have extreme fetishes. They like to put on women's underwear. It makes them feel sexy. They are heterosexual though. It is an extreme form of fetish.

For many its a fetish thing.Others may want a change of gender,with surgery.Some may want to express a feminine side that their macho life forces them to supress in daily life.
I think its something to be avoided though.
