Could the words from the song War What is it Good For be carved on all future tombtones with consent of people non military and military alike before death. Then add the words Absolutely Nothing from song also.Would this help end war if this was done

Agree with that but the song referrs to unecessary wars like Vietnam overused example perhaps and the point is not that to fight those wars was wrong but war itself is good for nothing and if this sentiment were to be expressed it might help discourage it by making it less desirable something along the lines ''If War Were Not So Terrible We Would Grow To Love It''.

It would likely not discourage Nazis and other types but if wars were fought with this in mind to make a contradictory statement it would prevent using soldier deaths or glorifying war . Just an attempt to deglorify war. If all nations had this as part of a burial ceremony it would dampen war sentiment make it not as easy to have wars. So could it take away religious excuses for war if war was said to be good for nothing. Can you have a Holy War if What Is War Good For Absolutely Nothing is written on burial grounds or other places. Would Nazi Gemany have ever suceeded without a desire for war already in place. War is good for making money and getting resources but if common sense were not thrown out the window each time a war was in the offing and people were to see those tombstones with it on them and every where it would make them think wouldn't it
