Think about who you can see yourself being in a long term, serious relationship with. Is one more of a friend than anything else, because if he is, don't jeopardize the friendship by trying to take it to the next level. It may not work and you've lost a friend. You're probably still young, so for now, maybe just date them both casually (and that means don't go sleeping with both or you'll end up in a bigger mess). You will eventually start pulling towards one more than the other. When you do, you'll have your answer.

Decide which one is best compatible with you, and for your future. I know the saying follow your heart is so old, but it's actually a good saying and you should try and go for the one your heart feels the most for. Good Luck, this is a tough one I've been there. Just make sure to make it sooner than later, cuz leading one or the other on is low, and that can cause alot of unwanted stress/drama.

Do both guys want to choose you? If so, give it some time, be friends with both and see which one is a better choice long term. Your heart will let you know.

All you have to do is decide whose underwear you don't mind washing, whose food you want to make, and who you could wake up next to , for the rest of your life. Will you still love this guy when he is old, paunchy, and losing his hair? Look at the situation in a realistic manner. The answer is there if you want to see it. By the way, which of them will love you the same way, and under the same circumstances, We are not young and beautiful forever,

Why choose?
At least, why choose now?
Why not just plain start dating them both and start dating other guys as well in the interim?
Unless you're already married, there shouldn't be any reason for you to have to pick one or the other.

Take your time. Ask them questions that really matter to you, like "have you ever cheated on you ex?" Watch em squirm, or watch em step up to the plate and answer the question like a man.
Look for eye contact when you talk about anything to see who is really into you. Which one does thoughtful things for you like opens doors or carries bags for you... who tries to show off? Who's flirty with other girls or secretive with phone calls...Just take your time.

Be careful in your decision. But it is apparent that your heart is not with the one you've known longer, so break any bond you seem to have and just be friends with both until your heart is sure...

Make them fight to the death...
and on a serious note:
go with the long time guy. Don't shortchange the one that has helped you out more. And plus the other guy, if he really likes you, will wait.
