some guys dont show enough affection? why.....my boyfriend sometimes.....and sometimes he just acts like whatever..like if i was just any other girl and when i ask him to be nice and tell me something nice he gets mad? i shouldnt even ask him to tell my nice things or show me that he loves me....why is this?

If he isn't showing you enough love, get him to want to show you love. when my boyfriend seems kind out of it i will do little things like bump hands to get him to grab my hand or something like that or i will be a little distant so he has to work to get my attention. and if that doesn't work i take control. i'll just go up to him and kiss him to show him that i want some love. if none of this works maybe you should talk to him about how he is acting and let him know that you don't feel very important to him when he isn't paying attention to you.

Here's a neat way I've heard it explained. There are several types of "Love Languages." They are; Quality Time, Gifts, Physical Touch, Words of Affirmation, and Acts of Service. So here's a brief explanation that might help you. Quality time means that you feel most loved when someone makes the most of every minute with you. They REALLY listen to you and you just know they understand everything you spend time talking about. Gifts is obvious, you feel loved most when someone gives you a gift. Physical touch means that you feel most loved when someone holds your hand or puts their arm around you, or touches you when they pass you. Words of affirmation means that you feel most loved when someone tells you how great you are. Acts of service means that you feel most loved when people do things for you.
Whichever one makes you feel most loved is YOUR love language. Your boyfriend's language may be different from yours. For example: You ask him to tell you nice things (Words of Affirmation), and it seems to be hard for him to do. But maybe he washes your car for you once in awhile or takes your car for an oil change (Acts of Service). If that were the case, the two of you are speaking different "languages." So...figure out what his language is and by speaking his language he'll love you more. In the example above he would understand your love for him if you were to wash the dishes at his apartment, rather than telling him how handsome he is. Once you start speaking his language he should be more interested in speaking yours.

Sweetie guys are gonna be guys, sometime they dont always show affection. Its not you its just the way they were brought up... the whole "guys dont cry" thing is way in effect... just be secure in your relationship and cherish the moments that he does show some love!

Different people show love in different ways. You just may not know yet how he shows love. He obviously does not express his feelings the same way that you do. There are countless books written about this very topic...

Most guys do, but how they show it may not be how you need it to be shown.
Consider reading: Five Love Languages, by Gary Chapman Once you figure out which love language is yours (and his) and if you are both willing to show love that way, each of you will feel loved.

Calling you for no reason, than to say he misses you and loves you. Listening to your worries, being there for you and supporting you in times of need. Holding your hand in public, there are so many ways, but one thing is certain. Actions speak louder than words.

What really is enough affection? Everyone is different. Maybe he feels he is showing you enough and gets irritated that you don't feel he is.

some guys can show more love than girls can. it just depends on how much he loves you, how comfortable he is. and just the guy.
