my bf and i have been going out for nearly a year now, but we havent had sex yet..

we keep getting close and i want to, but he doesnt.

i dont want to push him or rush him into anything. he knows how i feel, and we've talked about it, but everytime we do, it sort of gets dropped and the issue is ignored.

what should i do..?? should i just leave things the way they are..?

x

You should wait until he is ready :)
And thats good that you dont push him into it
Me and my bf have been together more than a year and we
plan to be each others firsts

We havent done it yet
Im ready and he is but we seem to get close but we never to it
but anyways just wait until he's ready
and see how it goes
Good Luck!
and oh! He might surprise you! thats probably why he is waiting lol :)

Are you sure he isn't gay? lol. what kind of man would not want to have sex! jeese! Just kidding.

Umm...
The next time it gets brought up don't let it be ignored. make sure he understands the problem and hear him out. You might find out that there is a good reason why he doesn't want to. Besides if you love him you will wait because sex is a big decision and it means serious commitment if you don't want to be a little tramp.

You don't state your age, or his, but he may just not be confident enough to take that next step. An ethical man doesn't take sex lightly if he really cares for you. In his eyes, you may be the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, and he is a little afraid to mess that up with sex too soon. Or, he may not be sure your the right one, and he wants to wait to be sure. Either way, putting pressure on him is going to result in negative feelings on his part. You both must be ready, or things won't turn out the way you want them to.

If the question's gender roles were reversed everyone (myself included) would advise you to continue to wait until you're comfortable, and we'd tell you that a guy who can't be patient with you isn't worth your time. Guess what? That same dynamic applies to him too for you. If he's not ready, don't try to force him. He will be in due time.

explain to him that you really want him to listen to what you have to say....then tell him how much it would mean to you if you guys had it. if he still says no ask him why, just out of curiousity. then from there you can decide whether to keep him or not. if he sorta wants it then ask him what his circumstances would be
