When is it not wrong to make fun of someone? Do you make fun of people in mental institutions? Do you laugh at handicapped people? You would be on the highest level of bigotry.

About as wrong as making fun of an Evolutionist when they have nothing to go by other than faith.

It is actually a moral imperative that we make fun of Creationists.

Something so demonstrably wrong NEEDS to be ridiculed. How will we ever progress if nonsense like this is accepted (and that IS the alternative. Tolerance in this case is tacit acceptance).

You know, ever time I'm about ready to say "No we're all humans, we should be respectful of each other" I read "...god's people... sorry on judgment day" and it sours my point of view.

I have a hard time with creationist, as I was one but when I started really reading I released what a load of lies creationist writers are feeding their followers.

Faith is the basis of Christianity and to please God, you have to have faith so Creationists are actually pleasing God by believing what is in the Bible. To make fun of them is showing that you don't believe in what God says through the Bible and that should be a big concern. Morally, it is wrong to make fun of anybody.

Shaolt has a point- if we put Creationists on the same level as the mentally handicapped, which I think most people do, morally, it would be wrong.
[Now, you were just ASKING for that when you chose the mentally handicapped as an example]

No, as long as it's not meanhearted.

I don't believe anyone should be seriously taunted for what they believe whatever side they fall on, if it is an earnest belief. But that goes vice versa as well.
Agree to disagree and get on with your life.

nope. Its like making fun of someone who thinks the tooth fairy built the eiffel tower. When someone insists upon holding a beleif based on nothing but stupidity, they are open to mocking.

No, we know we will suffer for our beliefs.
To me it proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that Christ is the one and only GOD. Praise the LORD.
