Yes. You will need to create a DVD "movie" of your presentation, on your computer, so it will no longer be in the PowerPoint format. The resulting "movie" can be simple (just insert DVD, press play) or interactive using the DVD menu system, so that the interactivity of your PowerPoint presentation is maintained.

You will need both DVD Authoring Software, as well as a DVD Burning Drive on your computer. If you have a recent macintosh, this is all built in. If you have a PC, you can buy a DVD Authoring package and drive at any electronics store, like BestBuy, CompUSA, Fry's etc.

yes, you can definitely watch a powerpoint on a dvd player with some conversion job. you first need a software name Moyea PPT to DVD Burner(actually it performs best among those ppt to dvd solutions currently) to convert your powerpoint to dvd format files and then burn them to DVD disc.
then you can watch your powerpoint on a dvd player with a remote control.
It's just so eazy. Download this software freely at: http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/download/

Hi,

PowerPoint has File > Make Movie, which saves your presentation as a QuickTime movie. (Mac only).

Open the saved movie in QuickTime Pro, then Export it as a QuickTime movie.

Put that into iDVD and click the Burn button.
