If you really want one go ahead. I have 2 tattoos and I wish I wouldn't have got them because I think about as I get older it will not be as presentable or cool as I thought they were when I was getting them. I have a black panther on my thigh and my name on my arm. Now I regret it!!!!!!!!

This is a question only you can truly answer. I went through the whole should I or shouldn't I for 39 years. Finally after 3 cancer battles I decided that I would do it. I got an antique family rosary (green beads) around my ankle. It has a celtic cross held by three (green) beads. Each bead holding the cross resembles a battle with cancer.
I don't regret now. It is tasteful and really has meaning. I have gotten a lot of mixed reactions from family and friends as I am a rather conservative person and they were quite shocked.
I am happy with it. Please make it your decision and your decision only. It is something you have to live with for the rest of your life. Try to make you choice something meaningful so when you look at it it gives you a sense of pride.
Good luck whichever way you go!!!

Tattoo's are not for everyone think about your appearance later on IN life if this will be as important them as it is now .The dyes that are in the paint are toxic, and every-ones body do not except it. But in the long run it's your choice let it be a wise one. Also knownm as a tramp stamp

Go for it! I'm almost 60 and I will have a tattoo before I turn 60. Just don't do it on your face.

I got one last weekend no one should tell you whether you should get one or not it's a very personal choice. Just make sure that what you get has some kind of meaning behind it bc it's going to be there for the rest of your life. <33

Get one that you want. Are you looking to please other people or yourself??? At the end of the day only you know what's best for you. If you're asking a bunch of strangers what you should do I would guess that maybe you're not ready for that.

if you have wanted one for more than a year, then get one. just be sure its what you really want to live with forever more!
we told our son he had to wait for a year and then if he still wanted it we would ok it being done. he waited and still wanted one so we let him.
our daughter was told the same thing and after a year she was no longer interested!

Pick the design that means something to you and that you really like, then wait a month.
If, after 30 days of seeing that design, you haven't talked yourself out of it, thought of a better design, or decided it's not for you, then yeah get a tattoo.
Please not on your lower back or ankle though. It's tacky.
