Try this recipe its what I've made and its so great. Its also spicy:
1. pound of ground turkey (better than ground chuck)
2. after cooked drain and put back in pan on stove on medium
3. Use enchalada sauce or tomato sauce (both work fine)
4. put the taco seasoning (in the pouch) in and also use different spices that you have in your cabinet
5. canned Kidney beans
6. canned corn
7. canned tomatoes
8. canned tomatoes with green chilies
opitional:
You can use macorni shells and corn bread mix as a mexican cornbread pizza.

I love to make soup!!! Any kind, from scratch or with packaged broth, and my son's favourite is my Gram ma Sarah's chicken noodle.
It's an old time Mennonite recipe, the flavours are different than some styles, but Iove it!!
We make hand cut, homemade noodles to go with it, but those very good German, packaged egg noodles work quite well. We never cook the noodles in the broth; they are served separately, hot, placed in the bowl, and the hot broth poured over top! That way the broth stays clear, and the noodles don't go all mushy.
1 good chicken free-range
1 onion cut in half and thinly sliced
2 stalks celery
and you could add 1 diced carrot (but we usually don't!)
several cloves of star anise
salt
cracked black peppercorns
cook this to a boil, and simmer it about 3-4 hours, topping up with water as it boils down, to taste.
If the broth is thin for your taste feel free to add a little organic chicken broth, but it's a different style of chicken soup, so it might just be a matter of accustoming ones self
to it. Cook until the chicken literally falls off the bone, and strain. remove the gristle and bones and skin, and reincorporate the remainder into the broth..most of the vegetable fibre is dissolved and a part of the broth, by now, anyway.
Let it cool off, and then reheat to serve..it always taste's better this way!

I personally don't have a favorite I love food! But everyone else loves my Sloppy Joe's, which I don't mind making pretty often because it's so easy. But every time I do make it I have to make pounds at a time otherwise it will get eaten up in five minutes, lol!!!

I have alot of favorites, but my super-specialty is something that I almost never have the chance to make:
Veal scallopini topped with prosciutto, then a mushroom and artichoke cream sauce, with swiss cheese melted over everything...heavenly!

I love to bake, so I love making desserts. One of my MANY [SMILE} favorites is Chocolate Turtle Cake.....I usually make it for special occasions like graduations, showers, anniversaries and just to perk somebody up who might be down in the dumps.
