Why not build a double layer fence across both borders so no person or money gets in or out without gov't OK?

i do no longer think Obama, if elected, will end the conflict in Iraq, i think of he will proceed with plans to amplify the conflict into Iran relatively, which will make an Iraq pullout impossible. yet regardless, he won't build a wall of any type between Mexico and the U. S. via fact the Bush-initiated (and CFR supported) North American Union would be known by 2010, and there will be effectively no north or south border to the U. S., different than the place the North American continent ends.

Mexico's government provides maps and books to its citizens on how to cross illegally into the U.S. Mexico doesn't want a fence. The "Iron Curtain" didn't stop East Germans from getting into West Germany. It's big business to cross into the U.S. illegally and they won't hesitate to blow up, cut or dig under any fence.

Have you been watching the news? They tunnel under fences. You can not legally take money from people just for crossing a border. That's ridiculous. Would you want your money confiscated while you very vacationing in Europe?

People, please. The amount of money we lose due to illegal immigrants is nothing compared to the amount of money we are spending on this stupid war in Iraq.
Heck, we could house these immigrants, feed them, clothe them, educate them, and give them a first class ticket back home to Mexico and STILL be spending less money than we are on the war in Iraq.

you can't take money from citizens, but as illegals they are not citizens

built wall with watch towers, armed guards, any property held by illegals or those helping illegal is confiscated and used to pay for wall and gaurds. offer bonus to border agents that stop a set number of illegals, not sent them to jail

I do not care who comes into my great country as long as they live by these rules:

1. Get a job.
2. Pay your taxes.
3. Do not expect to get public service or government assistance
4. Do not spit out babies and expect me to pay you for them for the next 18 years.
5. Do not commit any crimes.
6. Learn the language and speak it!
7. Apply to be a citizen.

Live by these rules and I welcome you... do not live by the rules and get deported or jailed!
