Our school PTA is having a Fall Festival tonight and the staff is having a jello eating contest. I need some ideas on how they should do it so it will be funny to watch. Jello by itself is kind of boring.

Put the jello on a tray, and cover it with a bowl. Staff members have to move the bowl off without using their hands.
Or...
Make them eat it with a straw.
or...
pour the jello into a flat pan, and let it set up there. It will stick to the pan, and be harder to get it off. No hands allowed.
or..
pour the jello into small round bowls that will roll and move as they try to get at it - no hands, again.
For those that don't want to have to eat a bunch of jello, have a relay race. They each get 5 squares of jello that they have to move across the gym using just a pair of spoons, but they can't touch the jello. Or they can use straws, or work in pairs and throw it.
Or...
they have a toss for accuracy, like a bean bag game.
If you have enough teachers to divide into teams, have teams (eg, all 5th grade teachers, or english vs. science, or guys vs. women) compete with other teams. Each event uses a different technique listed above.

When I was in college we would make jello shots in a big, clean, empty plastic Ketchup bottle and we would squeeze it into people's mouths. You could make your regular jello in the plastic ketchup bottles and have them either have to get it all out themselves or have someone else squeezing the bottle and whoever gets done first would win.

make the jello mold but when its still liquidy put random objects in the jello, tie their hands, put whip cream on top. ALOT of whip cream. and the first one done with the least mess wins.

Have it in a big bowl and then cover the top of it with cool whip and then tie there hands behind there back and blind fold them

You've been given lots of good ideas!! I can only add: make one with hot sauce. Make one with fish juice. And make one salty as possible.
