No wierd stuff, like eggs, mustard, sour cream.. just cheesy good.. I was going to use velveeta and chedder. It's for my 20 month old and my picky husband.... so I just want good tasting

I always used Martha Stewart's recipe...

Basically make a simple white sauce, and stir in the velveeta or cheddar after you remove from heat.

Then layer macaroni, sauce, and more grated cheese a few times in a baking pan and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.

I like to put buttered bread crumbs on top, and my hubby likes it with parmesean too. I always serve mine with fresh sliced salted tomatoes on the side, and maybe a green onion.

**********THREE CHEESE BAKED MACARONI
3 c. elbow macaroni (cooked, drained and rinsed)
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. shredded Swiss
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
1/2 c. grated Parmesan
1 can French fried onions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In 1 1/2 quart casserole, mix hot macaroni, soup, milk, seasonings and 1/4 cup of each Swiss, Cheddar and Parmesan. Add 1/2 can fried onions. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until heated through.
Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake uncovered 5-8 minutes until cheeses are golden brown. Makes 4-6 hearty servings.

Baked Macaroni and cheese

2 teaspoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup onions, chopped
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1 cup medium sharp cheddar cheese and 1 cup mild cheddar, shredded and divided
3 cups macaroni, cooked

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add onion, cooking and stirring for approximately 2 minutes.
Whisk in soup, milk, hot sauce and 1/2 cheddar cheese.
Stir just until cheese melts.
Stir in macaroni, and pour into a lightly greased 9-inch square baking dish.
Top with remaining cheese, and bake@ 375 degrees F.
for 30-45 minutes, or until golden and bubbly
