How about you find another guy BEFORE he gets out. If he was jailed it should have been a wake up call to you that he isn't the best person to be around in the first place.
Oh, and make sure the new guy is a lot bigger than the one in jail too or just start dating a cop. We need lovin' too.

He is your guy friend? By this, is he like your boyfriend? Is he just a male aquaintance? Is he like looking for a place to stay? To give you a decent answer I think you should give more detailed info. But just from what you have written, I'd say don't do anything.

Thats up to you. Be aware though, if he has probation, it means he is subject to property searches until he is done. This means you also if you live together.

Depends. If an ex-con is all you deserve, then I suppose you should welcome him.
If you are worth more than that kind of man, I suggest you kick him to the curb.
