They're not looking at me mean or anything, just staring at me. In class, at the mall, whatever. Not all the time, though, just sometimes. I'm ordinary looking and don't dress revealingly.

Humans like looking at things that are beautiful. We always strive to have nice things in our life, like pictures, pottery, or textiles. You go to a store to look at those things to see if you like them, and I'm sure if those things could talk, they would have the same problem as you. I'm not trying to degrade you by comparing you to material things, but what I'm trying to say is the men are probably just admiring your beauty, and there really bad at hiding it. If you see a good looking guy on the street do you not maybe take a bit longer of a glance than what you would at a less stunning person? Your probably one of those girls that is truly beautiful, but just to humble to admit it.

Men,being the hunter he is,stare at anything they think might be a half way decent mate. They talk all the time about how fussy they are about the women in their lives, but,in truth, men will sleep with the first one who says yes. Be glad they still look. I promise you you'll miss the attention when they stop.

This is serious:
Men are VERY visual. It's hard-wired into their brains. They aren't even aware of it. If they see something they like, it will neurologically "stimulate" an area of their brains. I'm not making this up. All this means is that they see something they like.
Women's brains are different, and tend not to be as "visual". You won't tend to see a woman "staring" or "ogling", because it doesn't give a woman's brain the same 'stimulation'.

Are you sure you're not being paranoid? Even if men are staring at you, don't you consider it a compliment? Unless someone is actually stalking you, don't worry. If you're that uncomfortable, move away or bring a friend.

It's because they can't do it in private. You'd get all upset and call the cops about "peeping toms" and whatnots. Be glad they do it in public! The alternative isn't so desirable.
