I am so sorry about the death of your cat.
Do you have any-one to talk to?
You still in a state of shock, try and talk to some-one about this awful thing. It will help. You wont be able to take your mind off of it. You witnessed something Traumatic and its stayed in your mind. Look on google and see if you can find a site that talks about pet bereavements if you feel you cant talk to any-one close to you. Give it time and the memory will soon fade.
found this site for you. i hope it helps.

I'm so sorry.. I have things like this in my head too, and it doesn't help but play over and over and over......
One thing that helped a lot was writing it all down in detail, on paper, then taking that to the empty sink, using a match and burning it to 'release' the memory. The sink made it safe to burn in, and clean up wasn't hard. It helped a lot.

I am sorry for your loss...but this is why cats should be indoor pets..it would have lived a longer life. If you are going to let a cat outdoors you MUST have known that something like this could have happened one day.

get a new cat, just like your old one, and don't let it out side. i'm so sorry your cat died, that is really sad. but i bet getting a new cat would help keep your mind off your lost freind, and on the new one that needs your ettention.
i know what it feels like lossing a loving furry friend. i had two cats, but one night we let him out and he never came home. it's been three months and no sign. but my remaining friend has helped me get over it

sorry for your loss, whenever you find yourself thing about the accident make yourself think about the good times he shared with you,if that doesn't work then get yourself a new cat like a main coon (has personality of their own) or a scottish fold ,as i call a lap cat(loves lots of attention).

Your cat won't have anymore for this clutter (please get her spayed and the kittens whilst they are the right age). She rejected it because of the fact she knew it does not stay and your attempt grew to become into solid yet maximum bottle kittens at that age won't proceed to exist. don't sense undesirable ok it ain't your falt.

I am very sorry for your cat.My idea would to buy another pet(a cat or a dog) and this would help you avoid thinking of him.

I am so sorry. With time you will remember the good times, and that terrible memory will fade.
