No. While they may learn some interesting things on Yahoo answers. Sitting on line all day will not give them the necessary social skills that school provides. You need human contact.

Dear asker, personally I don't think that kids could learn all day better at yahoo answers than school.Because at school, you learn all kinds of staff like science,history..etc.You can also learn these at yahoo answers. But there are things that you could not find at yahoo answers. For example,Social education, how to get along with people, how to respect elders and all that kind of staff. So I think that it is better to go to school in order to learn and at your free time,go to yahoo answers and learn additional things.

No.
School has a more structured learning.
Take math - it goes from addition/subtraction to multiplication/division to algrebra, etc.

On yahoo answers, if you go to the math section. the questions jump randomly from basic math to calculus. So unless the kids have the basics, they would no idea about the questions.

No. This forum is mostly based on opinion. And often a person's opinion could be misinterpreted as fact... and that can be a very dangerous thing. Go over to the R & S category and see for yourself.

I would say no, but some schools don't teach much of anything. Yahoo answers really wouldn't teach kids much of anything either.
