So long has your paying there is not a lot they can do.

If you don't have the payment plan in writing, it could be a problem. Typically hospitals want the bill paid within 3 months and set payment plans accordingly. After the 3 months they turn open accounts over to collection agencies. Hospitals just don't have the personnel to deal with collecting receivables.

Continuing paying what you can. If they call wanting more, remind them that you are following THEIR payment plan. But don't be surprised if they still send you to a collection agency.

It seems to me that you must contact that hospital's billing dep't and speak w/ someone about your agreed upon payment plan and tell them that you are in compliance w/ that agreement and that you wish that they cease calling your home. They must know that you are making payments as per the agreement and it is in writing, as well. If they continue to harass you, inform them that you will file a formal complaint, as they would then be breaking the law by doing so. That also means that they woul be in breach of that agreement thus releasing you of payments, potentially, and instead receiving money from them. The threat alone should suffice and stop them from contacting you completely, as long as you make the payments in that agreement on time. Try that .it should work for you. Good luck!

Honestly as long as you are paying, they can not do anything. Especially since you have it in a written agreement. They cant even put anything on your credit because you are making payments. However you miss a payment and then it could go to collections. Hospirals are terrible about wanting their money at once.
