If you watch for the mere purpose of indicating their "Christianess" I'll save you 6 hours:
"if their leader makes no clam of Christ then I will know that thy are not Christian"
The church's name is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Every sermon, every talk, every prayer, every comment, every oppinion, every EVERYTHING uttered from anyone's mouth in a religious service is closed "in the name of Jesus Christ".
I really wish the Church would broadcast what happens outside the conference as well. It really sheds some light on the situation.
Image if you were to turn on your TV, see a large body of people dressed in their Sunday best, speaking about Christ-like love, living one's life after the example of Christ, serving others, speaking kindly, etc.... Then you pan to the outside where there are vile people using profanity, calling people names, and in rare instances even throwing things.
I think the free-thinking non-members would conclude from observation who the "real Christans" are.
-------
Post-Conference Edit:
Kinda funny how a day or two before conference you posted this question, then this EXACT question of "Mormon's Christianess" was the central theme in Elder Holland's Saturday afternoon session talk.
..... So I bet you wanna know when Sacrament meeting is now dontcha? :)

Well, good for you. Conference is wonderful.
Guaranteed you will hear a lot of Christ and his teachings, He is the Leader of the LDS church, the prophets guide the church through direction from Christ himself.
There are two sessions on Saturday and two on Sunday. They start at 10 am and 2 pm - MST - and each last for two hours. There are speakers and the Tabernacle Choir usually sings several songs at each session. The prophet usually also speaks at each session. I love to hear the prophet speak.
Happy Watching - give us an update after you watch - and may the spirit touch your heart.
***Just wanted to add my opinion on one of THE best conference talks ever given, by Bruce R. McConkie, an apostle of the Lord... you can watch it, if you want, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feJ-6CuuCxY
The man is truly a man of God and I believe he did what he said he was going to do in "the days to come"...he passed away shortly after giving this last and final testimony.

You can watch it online, or you can read the talks from past conferences
O, BTW, it's today from 10 am to 12 noon, and 2 pm to 4pm, Mountain time. And tomorrow, same times. There is also a priesthood session this evening, but not sure of the time.
These are talks from all our leaders.

Hi, I answered your question in the details of my question, but I'll answer here too.
Conference will be broadcast at your local LDS church building, and on BYU TV on Saturday 10 - 12 and 2 - 4 Mountain Time, and Sunday at the same times. There is a Saturday evening session that is only broadcast to church buildings. All are welcome - as long as they aren't being mean or nasty. You can also catch it on the Internet at the church's website, or on the BYU-TV website.
Post Conference Edit: I agree, Elder Holland's talk was one of the talks that made me think of bblb.
http://www.byu.tv/ At the bottom on the right you can click on a session to listen to.

of direction, whoever there are diverse tiers of salvation so "saved" skill particularly some issues to diverse people. as an occasion, all adult males are saved from actual loss of life by skill of Jesus Christ, so in a small degree, all are saved. Our advantages in heaven relies upon on our coronary heart and if it has grow to be on the verge of crumple of God making our strikes Christlike strikes. in this component God will seem at each and every guy or woman in my opinion, i think of faith performs into it under many others have faith it does. i don't think of that as quickly as we are in heaven God will see what church we frolicked in and immediately keep or rattling us - so in case your works and faith are equivalent to mine why would i'm getting a miles better advantages? EDIT: it is not LDS doctrine that all of us non-LDS would be in a "lesser kingdom" because of the fact to ensure that us to be saved in the celestial kingdom we would desire to assist others. those claiming that in basic terms LDS could be saved in the optimal kingdom don't understand totally the prophetic words of Malachi conversing of the will for the hearts of fathers and little ones grew to become to a minimum of one yet another. we would desire to do our area to assist others have the comparable possibilities that we've. So the above poster is right in one sense - there are ordinances and covenants which you will desire to make with God, yet once you're organic in coronary heart you wil cause them to whilst your threat comes. So perchance you will stay a great existence as a non-LDS guy or woman and locate that throughout the time of orer to strengthen closer to Jesus you are able to desire to settle for vicarious artwork that the LDS church has executed on your behalf.

We are very Christian. We teach of Christ, we believe in Christ, we worship Christ, we have our hope and faith in Christ and invite all to follow Him. You are most welcome to participate in the conference sessions. Your local Stake Center will have closed circuit tv connections. BYU TV broadcasts the sessions over satellite tv connections. Web links are also available.

I have been a member all my life and have never doubted the divinity of Jesus. He is the cornerstone of our religion.
Don't listen to the anti-Mormon people, spouting their lies. They don't know what they are talking about. They are so filled with hate. It is sad.
