Jesus said "deny yourself and pickup your cross and follow Me. " What's in your life that will keep you from following Him. The closer you are to God the more you will know about Him. Yes it can cost you everything, but it's worth it.

The only cost is an assessment of your God given soul and then working within the framework of God's plan for you in changing your heart. I have found it a very rewarding price to pay. Lots of bang for the buck!

Jesus taught that his followers could be hated and persecuted as he became, some even being introduced as much as death for being his disciples. while Jesus spoke the words of Matthew 8:20-22, he had already launched into the preaching artwork that had to take place previous to his execution. i think of he became attempting to tell the guy who needed to persist with him that it would not be an elementary adventure. And to the guy who needed to bury his father and mom first, i think of Jesus became telling him that the time had come to evangelise repentance, and that there became no time to look ahead to his father and mom to die earlier doing that artwork.

It will cost you your whole life. Since you are promised a better life, you will neglect to enjoy your present life.
