Your haemoglobin must be 9 g/100ml (grammes per 100 millilitres) NOT 9%. It depends on your age and sex what the normal would be, but this is definitely low. (Male aged 20-60: should be 13-17 mg/dl).
The problem is that you have less haemoglobin, not less blood, otherwise you would have symptoms like fainting. I suppose your main symptom is tiredness, and looking pale (if you have a Hb of 9, your nailbeds will probably look white instead of pink; compare with someone).
To make haemoglobin, your body needs iron, copper, folic acid, Vitamin B12 and protein (in the form of amino acids). Foods that would have these include tomatoes, red peppers, meat, liver, green vegetables, fish, eggs, milk, cheese, pulses, nuts, fruits, etc.
However, with a Hb of 9 you will probably need some tablets of iron sulphate + folic acid.
Your doctor should also perform various tests to find the cause of your anaemia (hypochromic or megaloblastic, etc.) eg if you were bleeding internally, this would need urgent attention, or if you had malabsorption (not absorbing food from your intestine properly).
SEE YOUR DOCTOR!!!

Take iron pills I myself got to where my blood was so low I had zero platelets and the doctor was going to have to get ready to do a blood transfusion. They put me on 3 iron pills a day. Also eat plenty of foods that give you iron. And take a vitamin B-12 tablet daily.
